Hall of Woods

The Hall of Woods is reserved for those modern saints who appreciate the Great Outdoors and all the natural beauty and wonder of the earth. Saints commemorated in the Hall of Woods will be surrounded by an arbor of greenery and illuminated with rays of sunlight dancing through the leaves. Though these modern saints have different connections with the flora and fauna of earth, among them is a shared appreciation of quiet, calm happiness that exists in nature. Here you’ll find hikers, birdwatchers, environmentalists, ecologists, hunters, nature photographers, and anyone else who feels a connection to those places that have not been rearranged by human hands.

  • St. Carleigh

Reading all seven of the Harry Potter books is an accomplishment in and of itself, but it wasn’t enough for St. Carleigh. Not only did she make it through the entire series, but she’s now starting to read them in Spanish. In addition to being an avid reader, St. Carleigh is a skilled crafts-maker. She designs and makes her own string bracelets and beaded book marks. St. Carleigh’s drive and outgoing personality helped her earn the distinction of being the top cookie seller in her Girl Scout troop three years in a row.
